Pruning a tree is the act of removing select branches/twigs of a tree.

WHY PRUNE A TREE? 

There are many reasons why trees may need to be pruned:

• A tree may require particular diseased branches removed
• A tree may be pruned to prevent insect infestation, fungal infection or decaying on unhealthy branches/twigs
• Pruning a crown can help increase airflow and sunlight (improving the health of the tree) without an entire reduction needed
• Pruning particular branches may help create space within a properties boundaries
